1. Who we are
Sharda Gurukul Academy is an educational and competitive-examination preparation institute in Jind, Haryana, India. This policy applies to shardagurukul.in and the Sharda Gurukul Academy Android app, which displays services from this website.
2. Information we collect
With parent or guardian consent, the admission-enquiry form may collect:
- Parent or guardian name
- Student name and current class
- Contact number and email address
- State and city/locality
- Interested examination or programme
The website stores a small status value on the device so the enquiry form does not repeatedly reopen after it is completed or dismissed. This value does not contain the submitted enquiry details.
The separate Parent Zone callback and counselling forms collect only the adult parent/guardian name, Indian mobile number, interested course, request type, optional counselling-day/time preference, and consent record. They do not request a student name. Parent Zone practice-test answers and scores stay in the current page and are not saved.
3. Information we do not collect in the app or website form
The public enquiry form and Sharda Gurukul Academy AI do not ask for or store Aadhaar/document copies, a precise home address, medical information, payment-card or bank credentials, passwords or OTPs. Admission documents should be shown only to authorised staff through an appropriate offline process.
4. How we use and store enquiry information
Scholarship tests separately collect student name, parent/guardian name, phone number, email, target exam, consent time, answers, score and submission time. These records are stored in the website database for scholarship review and related contact. Scores and leaderboards are visible only to the signed-in academy owner, never publicly. A parent or guardian can request correction or deletion using the contact details below.
Enquiry information is used only to respond to the parent or guardian, provide admission or course counselling, arrange a demo or follow-up, and maintain an enquiry record. Form submissions are sent through a connected Google Forms/Google Sheets workflow accessible to authorised Sharda Gurukul Academy staff. Google may process that submission under its own privacy terms.
We keep enquiry information only as long as reasonably needed for counselling, follow-up, administration or applicable legal requirements. A parent or guardian may request correction or deletion using the contact details below.
New Parent Zone requests are stored separately in the website’s Cloudflare D1 database, with consent version and time, request timestamps and follow-up status. They are visible only to the authorised owner after sign-in; they are not sent to the older Google form. Repeat submissions are limited to help prevent abuse. A preferred counselling time is a request, not a confirmed appointment. No automatic calls, messages or reminders are sent by this feature. 5. AI counsellor and external services
The current Sharda Gurukul Academy AI Counsellor answers from a locally supplied knowledge base. Its chat messages remain in the current app or browser session and are not submitted to the admission lead workflow. Closing or reloading the page clears the visible chat.
The website may display YouTube videos and provide links to WhatsApp, telephone, email, Instagram, Facebook or other external services. If a user opens or interacts with those services, the provider may receive technical or account information under its own privacy policy. Sharda Gurukul Academy does not control those external services.
Google Maps directions links send the school destination, not a visitor’s starting location, from this website. Google Maps may ask to use location under its own permissions. Microsoft Clarity tracking is not enabled for the Parent Zone release; no heatmaps or session recordings are collected by that feature. Owner follow-up pages do not load the voice-agent widget.
6. Android app permissions
The Android app uses internet and network-state access to securely load the Sharda Gurukul Academy website. It does not request access to contacts, call logs, SMS, camera, microphone, photos, files or location. Tapping a phone, WhatsApp or email link may open the corresponding app chosen by the user.
7. Children and parental consent
Sharda Gurukul Academy provides educational services to school-age students. Admission-enquiry details for a child must be submitted by, or with the involvement and consent of, a parent or guardian. Children should not submit personal information independently.
8. Security and your choices
We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure. A parent or guardian may ask what enquiry information is held, request a correction, withdraw consent, or request deletion by contacting Sharda Gurukul Academy.
Basic website counts — no session recording
We count public page loads and clicks on our Call, WhatsApp and Google Maps links in daily totals, visible only to the signed-in owner. Only the India calendar day, a fixed public-page category, an event category and its total are stored in the website database. The counters do not store IP addresses, visitor or device identifiers, cookies, referrers, URL query strings, form answers, messages or individual browsing histories. They do not record screens or keystrokes, use fingerprinting, or send analytics to Microsoft or another marketing provider. Hosting providers still process ordinary network requests under their own policies.
Admin, payment and privacy pages are excluded. Browser Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control signals and this browser’s opt-out choice are respected; recognised bots are excluded where detectable. Public-page counting runs only on the production site. Page/click totals are shown for up to 90 days; older totals are removed on the next accepted counter request. These are approximate activity counts, not unique visitor numbers or proof of a completed conversation.
The owner can separately see the number of successfully saved Parent Zone requests in a selected period. This comes from existing enquiry records, not form-field tracking; deleted records and the older Google Forms workflow are excluded.
You may turn off basic counts below without affecting any website service. Only your on/off preference is saved on this browser; it contains no identifier. Browser-level Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control takes priority even if you select “Allow”.
